Not all e-bike battery packs are created equal. There are many cheaper packs available on eBay and Amazon with similar capacity. In many cases, the sellers won't disclose the battery cell type or manufacturing source. R-eCycle uses genuine Samsung, LG and Panasonic batteries because they are manufactured to higher specifications to ensure consistent performance, longevity and reliability. Our packs also use an internal honeycomb structure to retain the cells and maintain pack integrity.
The 15Ah, 780Wh Samsung 21700 50E cell packs in a 14S3P configuration, to provide the best balance between price and value. Incorporating a 30A BMS, these packs are capable of providing power output of over 1200W. With a slower current draw, they produce good range for their size.
The Hialong 02 packs include a keyed locking mechanism, on/off power switch, a built in USB charging port (for your phone) and a LED battery power level indicator. It features a high connectivity 6 pin interface with the mounting base.
Each pack comes with a 2A 120W 58.8V alloy charger, US standard socket.
The Grin Double Bob Battery Mount (found in Accessories) is highly recommended with the Shark Packs for additional strenth and greater flexibility in mounting locations. The Double Bob mounting points are designed to fit to the G80 battery packs.
Battery cells types may be substitued (by LG, Samsung or Panasonic) on pre-orders based on availablility. The same approximate capacity, case and BMS Amp rating will apply.
